Modern Art at ISK Tirol: Work in progress and the creative process
Numerous visitors were delighted by first Visual Arts Exhibition
From 23 to 25 May 2018, the nationwide "KuBi Days 2018: Days of cultural education in schools" were held as part of the UNESCO International Arts Education Week 2018.
The International School Kufstein Tirol participated with a special action in the days of cultural education:
As part of the international IB curriculum, students of the Visual Arts class created an extraordinary exhibition in the premises of ISK Tirol, which allows the visitors to immerse themselves in a world full of individual artworks. The students used a wide range of materials from traditional media such as Gouache, Acrylic Illustrations to modern photography and digital design.
As a highlight, a gala evening of visual arts was organized on May 25th. The young artists personally presented their works to the interested public. The program also included musical contributions by the students and an exchange of ideas at the buffet.
Herbert Madl, Head of School, was very pleased with the result: „The promotion of creativity and independent action is an important element in the educational profile of ISK Tirol and was perfectly implemented in this project by the students.“
