"Biber der Informatik 2017/18" – student of ISK Tirol wins first prize!
„ISK-students“ achieved good results in competition in computer science
The aim of the online-competition „Biber der Informatik“ is to familiarize young people with the concepts and ways of thinking of computer science. It has been carried out by the Austrian Computer Society (Österreichische Computergesellschaft - OCG) since 2007. More than 31.000 students from all over Austria participated in this school year alone.
The International School Kufstein Tirol was pleased about very good results of the "ISK-students" at the competition. A particularly outstanding performance was provided by Lea Pillny from the 6a class. She achieved first place in her category across Austria!
Herbert Madl, Head of School and Peter Holzknecht, teacher of computer science: „"Computer Science / IT in a Global Society" enjoys a high status within the educational profile of ISK Tirol. The young students are well prepared for the challenges of the digital world of tomorrow. We are impressed by the performance and warmly congratulate all participants.“
