First Aid Course at the ISK

13 students of 5a trained to be first-aiders

Students of 5a participated in a 16h First Aid Basic Course of the Youth Red Cross and were thereby trained to be competent first-aiders. The course was held by an experienced Red Cross expert who taught the teenagers about accident prevention and assistance after accidents or sudden disease outbreaks.

After this course, our students are capable of independently administer first aid in various situations as for instance heavy bleeding, heart attacks or bone injuries. Thanks to practice doll Steve, not even CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) poses a problem anymore for our students. This basic course is also valid for any driving license test.
