Focus on professional development
IB Diploma Programme Coordinator attends workshop in Vienna
ISK Tirol as a future „IB World School“ shares the IBO philosophy – the commitment to high quality, challenging, international education.
An important part of this philosophy is a regular professional development of the teachers. Louise Canham, IB DP coordinator und form teacher of class 5A, reports about her participation in the „IB DP coordination workshop“ at the end of November 2015:
"I attended the Diploma Programme Coordination workshop in Vienna to get an overview of the IB programme and the tasks that lay ahead of us during the candidacy phase. The workshop was both interesting and extremely informative.
For me, the best part was having the opportunity to meet other members of the IB community from all over the world. We exchanged ideas and experiences, and I really felt part of the international community of the IBO."
ISK Tirol teachers are commited to teaching students in a modern and innovative way and in accordance with the „IB Learner Profile“. In the school year 2015/16, the teaching staff will participate in IBO workshops in Madrid, Oxford and other locations.
