ISK student Kay Strohmeyer became double European champion at Youth European Championships in water skiing

14-year-old was the outstanding athlete at European Youth Championships in Friedberg near Augsburg

The water ski club Kiefersfelden-Rosenheim returned home from the European Youth Championships with a big surprise. The team with Kay Strohmeyer, Jakob Huber, Robert Lengsfeld and Fynn Strohmeyer together with Paula Götz and Leni Bauer finished an excellent third place with the German U15 national team behind Slovakia and Belarus.
Kay Strohmeyer, who won the slalom sovereignly with a new European youth record and for all very surprisingly also the combination ranking of trick ski, slalom and jumping, was the outstanding athlete. The 14-year-old captivated the audience with daredevil tricks and technical skills and can now call himself double European champion of the U15.
The Leadership Team and the entire school community of the ISK Tirol congratulate Kay warmly on this outstanding achievement and wish him many more successful and accident-free competitions.
