The archdiocese of Salzburg and the FH-Verein provides support to the students of ISK Tirol
During his speech at the opening ceremony of ISK Tirol in September 2015 the archbishop of Salzburg Dr. Franz Lackner announced that the cooperation partner of International School Kufstein Tirol, the archdiocese of Salzburg, will grant a reduction in tuition fees based on the family income (social scholarship) for four years.
At the last meeting of the advisory board of ISK Tirol on April 15 the agreement was officially signed by KR Mag. Josef Rupprechter, who is representing the archbishop in this board, and the leadership team of ISK Tirol. Mag. Rupprechter underlined that „the admission of motivated students from all social backgrounds is an important part of the school´s overall concept for the archdiocese of Salzburg. By awarding this scholarship we sustainably support this objective.“
From the beginning the „Verein für internationale FH-Studiengänge und Weiterbildung Kufstein Tirol (FH-Verein)“ was an important driving force behind the plans to establish an International School in Kufstein.
Also the „FH-Verein“ provides a scholarship for students worthy of financial support. „International School Kufstein Tirol is an innovative and necessary complement to the existing educational offer in the Tyrol. The „FH-Verein“ is pleased to contribute to the positive development of ISK Tirol,“ says Mag. Hannes Bodner, chairman of the organisation.
