ISK awards performance based scholarships for special achievements in school life as well as in extracurricular activities

Focus on talent and commitment

For the second time in the relatively young history of ISK Tirol, motivated and committed students of the ISK Upper School were awarded a talent scholarship at the end of the school year.
The awarding committee, consisting of the representatives of ISK´s governing body and the leadership team, as well as the form teachers, received high-quality applications - six of which were selected.

In addition to outstanding academic success, all award winners demonstrated a high level of social competence, took on responsibility and were committed to the school, whether at internal events or in an external context.

For the first time, the scholarship, endowed with € 1,200 per student, was awarded with partner institutions. Stadtwerke Kufstein and Sparkasse Kufstein were enthusiastic about the initiative and the achievements of the award winners and took over the patronage of one scholarship each.

In the last week of school, a ceremony was organized to award the scholarships - accompanied musically by the ISK school band - at which the young people were introduced and honored.

Awarded with a 2022/23 Scholarship were (in alphabetical order):

  • Theresa Drexler, 8a
  • Marco Juffinger, 8b
  • Marietta Madritsch, 8b
  • Amelie Pellin, 8b
  • Lionard Pointner, 5a
  • Victor Naphtali, 6a

The body maintaining ISK, FH Kufstein Tirol-Privatstiftung, as well as the whole ISK school community congratulate warmly!
