At the same time, Maria Hofer has reached for the stars – quite literally. She participated successfully in the “Astronaut for a Day” competition, a European initiative that gives young people the opportunity to experience real astronaut training and even moments of weightlessness during a parabolic flight. The selection process includes scientific and fitness challenges, and only the most motivated and capable students are chosen to take part. Maria’s achievement shows not only her strong interest in science and space exploration but also her determination to push boundaries and explore new horizons.
