For a decade now, the International School Kufstein Tirol (ISK Tirol) has been an integral part of Kufstein’s educational landscape. As an accredited IB World School, it offers a continuous, globally recognized education in English – from the Middle Years Programme at lower secondary level to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at upper secondary level.
A Successful Concept with Vision
Launched in autumn 2015 with one class and 22 young students, the school will count 370 students at the beginning of the 2025/26 school year. Teaching takes place in a modern, inspiring learning environment in the heart of the city. Numerous synergies are created on the education campus in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein. In autumn 2024, the campus was also expanded structurally – an important milestone in the school’s development.
Since its foundation, values such as critical thinking, intercultural understanding, responsibility, and the personal development of students have been at the forefront. The team of international and Austrian teachers places particular emphasis on independent learning, teamwork, and social skills.
