Gradual return to normal school operation - further withdrawal of measures

On the way to normal school operations, further COVID measures will be withdrawn.

Major changes as of Monday, 28.2.2022:

  • In principle, compulsory attendance for all pupils will apply again.
  • In the event of confirmed suspicious cases, entire classes will no longer be automatically switched to distance learning. However, it is still possible for the Directorate of Education to issue a corresponding decree. In the event of a corresponding risk situation, the school autonomously may also impose a masking requirement for individual classes for a limited period of time.
  • External persons can come to the school again (for teaching projects, performances, etc.).

As of Saturday, March 5, FFP2 masks are no longer required for vaccinated and recovering teaching and administrative staff as well as for external persons in classrooms, group rooms and teachers'/conference rooms. In the generally accessible areas of the school building, where there may be crowding and heavy mixing (e.g. corridors), FFP2 masks are still compulsory.
