Project in Cooperation with Samaritan’s Purse for Children in Need

International School Kufstein supports “Samaritan’s Purse”

After the great success of the 2024/25 school year, we are delighted to once again take part in “Samaritan’s Purse” this year. With even the smallest gesture, we hope to bring a bright spark of joy into the eyes of the children receiving these gifts — truly embracing the motto: “Love can be wrapped.”

Christmas is a season filled with excitement, joy, and the tradition of giving. Yet many children grow up in challenging circumstances where a Christmas gift — something that nurtures hope and shows each child “You are precious!” — is far from guaranteed.

We sincerely thank all students and parents of classes 5A and 6A for their dedicated involvement and willingness to make a meaningful contribution to this initiative once again.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to Renate Egger and the Protestant Church in Kufstein for kindly providing the shoeboxes, as well as Jonas (7B), Maya, Valentina and Amelie (8A) for helping to take them to our school.

A particularly special expression of delivering the filled shoeboxes was not only the warm welcome our students received, but also the opportunity to meet refugees Abraham and Dagim from Ethiopia and Nigisti from Eritrea. A total of 947 shoeboxes were collected in Kufstein and the surrounding area, and even 2,640 across Tyrol.
