Gifted and committed young people are especially encouraged at ISK Tirol

Talent-based scholarship for students offered for the first time

Since ISK, as an IB World School, feels compelled in the spirit of its mission statement to support motivated and committed students, the school introduced, beginning with the 2021/22 school year, a scholarship for young people who distinguish themselves through excellent academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and special talents and gifts. A total of four scholarships have been offered.

All students at ISK Tirol sign house rules and a behavioral agreement upon admission. These documents provide guidelines and regulate living together on the school campus. Scholarship holders at ISK Tirol are also expected to show increased commitment.

All award winners demonstrated a high level of social competence, took on responsibility and were committed to the school, whether at internal events or in an external context.

These special achievements were rewarded with a one-time € 1,200 per student.

The decision on the awarding of the scholarship was made by a separate committee consisting of representatives of the governing body and the school management as well as the form teachers.

In the last week of school, a ceremony was organized to award the scholarships, where the winners were introduced and honored.

A 2021/22 talent-based scholarship was awarded to:

- Melanie Winkler, 5B

- Johanna Knoll, 7A

- Andreas Astl, 7A

- Noah Fuchs, 7A
